(BPRW) Black Women’s Empowerment Conference To Be Held April 9 | Press Releases

(BPRW) The Black Women’s Empowerment Conference will be held on April 9

(Black PR Wire) The 2nd Annual Black Women’s Empowerment Conference hosted by the Tufts Africana Center is a one-day hybrid event scheduled for April 9, 2022, and is open and free to all Black women and students in undergraduate and graduate who attend an institute of higher learning in the Northeast or across the United States. Our conference aims to empower Black women and post-secondary students by providing them with the wellness, networking, and leadership skills needed to succeed in their academic and professional careers. We hope to achieve this by hosting talks, panels, and workshops featuring Black women in academics, industry professionals, and influencers.

The theme for BWEC 2022 is Radical Self-Love. Our goal is to inspire conversations about caring for self and community and uplifting Black women by hosting in-person and virtually accessible talks, panels and workshops with academics, industry professionals and black influencers.

During our inaugural conference in the spring of 2022, on the theme “I am because we are”, we held 10+ workshops, panels and other sessions | 40+ speakers | 1 keynote speaker | Virtual social events

REGISTRATION IS COMPLETELY FREE! OPEN NOW UNTIL APRIL 9, 2022
