CM Rupani lists state government women’s development programs

New Delhi: Chief Minister of Gujarat Vijay Rupani in remarks at a reception hosted by the State Government’s Department for Women and Children Protection on International Women’s Day said our Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision is to make India a five trillion dollar country. the dollar economy will only be achieved with the participation of women in all fields.

Gujarat will actively contribute to building a new India by providing women with the same opportunity by bringing out their inherent strength, insight and strength.

As part of this celebration, CM launched a transparent system of paying fees to Anganwadi workers and Tedagar assistants directly to their bank accounts through DBT. He called this online system of direct deposit of money to a bank account a faceless system and one more step towards a transparent system.

The CM also launched a gender dashboard and a digital book of information on the planning of the department in the presence of the Minister of Women and Child Welfare, Mr. Ganpat Singh Vasava and the Minister of State Smt. Vibhavariben Dave.

On this occasion, the dignitaries presented the checks of Mahila Swavalamban Yojana as well as the checks given to the beneficiaries of Vahli Dikari Yojana.

Mr. Rupani also said that the state government has taken several initiatives for the empowerment of women so that the state girl does not remain undernourished and has appropriate opportunities. In this year’s budget, various programs for women’s empowerment under the gender budget and 100 percent women-focused programs, the overall gender budget has been increased by Rs 8,692.63 this year.
