The Sustainable Social Development Organization (SSDO) in collaboration with the Punjab Safe City Authority (PSCA) and the Women’s Peace Council (WPC) launched the Women’s Safety Wall at Kinnaird College, Lahore, to educate students about the application for the safety of women.
The event was chaired by Uzma Kardar, Chair of the Standing Committee on Gender Mainstreaming, Asim Jasra Commondar Punjab Safe City Authority, Syed Kausar Abbas, Executive Director of the Sustainable Social Development Organization (SSDO).
Asim Jasra gave a detailed presentation on the use of Women Safety App. they said that more than one lake woman uses this app. Syed Kausar Abbas said that one should prove to be a civilized citizen by cooperating with the police. He said more and more students would have the opportunity to benefit from Safety Wall. Dr Ra’ana Malik thanked the participants and said that balance in society will continue to play a role in gender relations. “Using a security app will enhance women’s sense of security,” she said.
