Lata Dagar, Founder, Shiksha Craftz awarded at SMEStreet Global Women Leadership Awards 2021

DELHI, INDIA, October 27, 2021 /EINPresswire.com/ – SMEStreet, in association with WASME, successfully organized a Forum for Economic Empowerment through Female Entrepreneurship as well as the “SMEStreet Global Women Leadership Awards 2021”. The awards were announced at a roundtable on digital platforms on October 22, 2021. Lata Dagar, Founder, Shiksha Craftz The Foundation was among 14 women leaders who were chosen by the jury based on their immense contribution to education, socio-economic life, public service, philanthropy and other services and sectors.
The event was supported by the Ministry of MSMEs, the Indian government and SAVE (Society for Advancement of Village Economy).
The guest of honor of the event, Shri BB Swain, Secretary of the Ministry of MSME, Government of India, gave a keynote address in which he highlighted the important role of women entrepreneurs in shaping our socio-economic scenario. . Shri Swain congratulated the recipients of the 2021 SMEStreet Global Women Leadership Awards.
The topic of the forum was “The role and impact of women’s empowerment through the development of MSMEs”. Ministry of MSMEs, CA Dr GP Agarwal, Secretary General of WASME, Ms Sampa Banerjee, Executive Director of WASME and Secretary SAVE, Shri Amit Dua, DVP, of Axis Bank. The session was moderated by Shri Faiz Askari, Secretary General of the SMEStreet Foundation and founding editor-in-chief of SMEStreet.
After receiving the prestigious award, Ms. Lata Dagar thanked SMEStreet and the jury member for the recognition and insisted on the right to education especially in primary and preschool education. In addition, she added that in the current global situation, early childhood mental health needs to be activity-based education focused and delivered to it. Countries like India still have significant gaps in elementary and preschool education that need to be aggressively addressed.
