‘MPWS, Jhewa play vital role in women’s development’ | Daily Express Online

Kota Kinabalu: The Ministry of Community Development and People’s Welfare will always plan and implement women’s development programs in the state through its think tank, the Sabah Women’s Advisory Council (MPWS) and the Sabah Department of Women’s Affairs (Jhewa).

Her Minister Datuk Ir. Shahelmey Yahya said this is to ensure that women in Sabah are not left behind in the era of development and progress, as well as to ensure that they continue to be empowered in all Angles. “This is in line with the role of MPWS and Jhewa to mobilize the mission to ensure that the women of Sabah are innovative and knowledgeable so that they continue to advance in line with changes and national development.
