Kuwait: The National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) has officially launched its global female leadership initiative “NBK RISE”, a one-of-a-kind program designed to elevate female leaders to higher leadership positions.

NBK RISE was officially launched with representatives from Alshaya Group, Kuwait Commercial Bank, Burgan Bank, EQUATE and STC Telecom as pledge partners.

The event also featured representatives from NBK RISE’s educational partners, including Business School, Franklin Covey, and INSEAD, as well as program mentors and 20 NBK RISE participants.

Ms. Shaikha Al-Bahar, Deputy Managing Director of the National Bank of Kuwait Group, delivered a speech highlighting the importance of this key initiative as a new start towards empowering women in the corporate world and encouraged participants to seize the opportunity to overcome barriers.
