COO PSCA Muhammad Kamran Khan received the six-member delegation and discussed agenda items such as women’s security enforcement, women’s empowerment, protection, labor market participation within and through PSCA.

He informed the UNFPA delegation of the promising fact that women’s participation represents up to 25% of the authority’s total workforce.

The representatives welcomed the initiatives of PSCA regarding the Women Safety application.

The COO PSCA informed the delegation that the application is responsible for features, such as secure route mapping, location sharing and one-touch SOS calling for the immediate provision and deployment of security.

“It is not possible to educate women on the application without the support of civil society. The number of people installing apps designed to protect women is increasing rapidly.

The delegation commended the initiative to protect women.

“FCDO is always ready to provide all possible support for women’s security enforcement awareness. “
