Riyadh conference focuses on women’s empowerment
Who’s Who: Mohammed Abdullah Al-Hasan, Head of Corporate Communications at the Saudi Arabian Water Regulator
Mohammed Abdullah Al-Hasan has been the spokesperson and head of corporate communications at the Water Regulator, an administratively independent agency under the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, since November.
Prior to his appointment, from 2018, he was Executive Director of the Saudi Intellectual Property Authority for Media Affairs, spokesperson and head of corporate communications.
Between 2016 and 2018, he oversaw the media and public relations department of King Abdulaziz City for science and technology. For three years, starting in 2013, he worked as Deputy Secretary General for Media and Corporate Communication at the Princess Al-Anoud Foundation.
In 2003, Al-Hasan joined the College of Telecom and Information in Riyadh as Head of Media and Public Relations, a position he held for almost five years before joining the Saudi British Center for Education and Development in as head of his project department.
He is also a freelance lecturer at the University of Media and Communications, Imam Mohammad bin Saud Islamic University.
In addition, he is a media advisor at King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz University Hospital, certified trainer at Technical and Vocational Training Corp. and certified trainer in civilization dialogue at the King Abdulaziz Center for National Dialogue.
Al-Hasan took an English course in Manchester Central, UK, and obtained a management degree before earning a Bachelor of Education degree from King Saud University in Riyadh.
He has also successfully completed a nonprofit organization management consulting program from the University of Granada, Spain, and obtained a Masters in Education from King Saud University.
