Seminar organized on women’s safety and empowerment

With the aim of women’s safety and empowerment, an event was held at Sarojini Naidu Government Girls College here on Friday.

The event was organized by the Madhya Pradesh Police at the college premises. Traffic Director Sanjay Sumani, CSP Bhupinder Singh, ASP Dharmaveer Yadav and ASP Rakshmi Mishra School of Crime were present on the occasion. They talked about the safety of the girls.

CSP Bhupendra Singh said all issues related to the safety of female students will be resolved by the police. He added that 99 police campaigns are for the protection of girls’ safety. “We are here for your protection and your safety,” he added.

ASP Crime Branch Rashmi Mishra said the girl shouldn’t keep quiet about the disastrous behavior, stop it immediately, don’t hesitate to adopt the self-defense methods and come out of her hesitation tendency, then the culprits will be defeated.

ASP Dharmaveer Yadav said every woman has the right to live with respect and also has the right to safety. He added that a suggestion box and a complaints box should be kept on college premises where they can write their complaints to the police. Their identity will remain confidential, he added. It must be written here that from time to time our girls have suffered a lot of harassment. And in this condition, if the girls take on their side the responsibility to revolt and stand up against injustice, society will now be different.

Moreover, interacting with the students, the principal of the college, Manjula Sharma, said that women are passionate about power, they keep the sixth sense of recognizing the good and the evil eye, which they can use for their own protection. .

She thanked the police department for the students’ cooperation. All college faculty and staff were present in the program.
