Send ideas to make women safer to Noida Police, become ACP for a day – The New Indian Express

NOIDA: Noida Police invited residents to make suggestions to enhance women’s safety and empowerment, one of which gave the best proposals a chance to become deputy police commissioner for a day, said Thursday officials.
While both men and women can send their suggestions as part of this initiative, the opportunity to become Deputy Commissioner of Police (ACP) will only be open to women, they said.
Scheduled for International Women’s Day on March 8, as part of the initiative, “the top three winners will receive cash prizes of Rs 5,000, Rs 3,000 and Rs 2,000, respectively, and the woman with the best entry will have the chance to serve as ACP (Women Safety) for a day, ”said Deputy Police Commissioner (Women Safety) Vrinda Shukla.
“Not just women, anyone in Gautam Buddh Nagar district can recommend practical ideas that can be implemented in the district to strengthen women’s security and empowerment,” she said.
Entries can be emailed to “[email protected]” or sent to Whatsapp number 9870395200 until March 7, according to officials.
Those who send suggestions should clearly include their name, address and phone number in their emails or Whatsapp messages, officials said.
