Addressing a press conference on Wednesday, the minister said the TDP leaders under the leadership of N Chandrababu Naidu were trying to create chaos on every issue to gain political ground. “The opposition, unable to digest good governance, resorts to cheap politics to defame Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. The Minister said that over the past three years, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has worked for women empowerment and recalled that 75% of social welfare programs are provided to female beneficiaries improving their lives. Reiterating that women have been betrayed and their welfare deeply neglected by the previous government, she said TDP leaders have no right to talk about women’s welfare or safety.
